Michele Challiss

I have a diploma in counselling obtained at Southampton University and I am a member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy) and work to their code of ethics.

I offer open ended counselling, long and short term for a range of difficulties including, depression, stress & anxiety, low self esteem, sexuality issues, grief, eating disorders, self harm and relationships issues.

I also specialise in counselling men who have struggled to deal with termination of pregnancy and/or miscarriage. Men often feel left out as a lot of the attention is on the woman and many men want to call out “what about me? I am struggling too”. I give men the space in a non judgemental environment to discuss their feelings around this knowing that whatever is said is going to be confidential.

If you feel uncomfortable talking to a woman, then let me know and I will be able to refer you to a male counsellor.
